Level 10 tranny and torque converter mod
Does anyone here have a Level 10 Tranny or Torque Converter. I hear very good stuff about their Torque Converter, and some about their tranny upgrades. I know people have shaved off a full second on their 0-60 on their maximas from the Level 10 torque converter and tranny.

I have the torque converter. On our cars you can drop up to a full second off your 1/4 mile, just w the torque converter. I havent expeirenced a full sec off my 1/4 but damn near close. I'm happy!

I HAVE to drive w the traction control on or I'll just rip through tires. In automatic the car revs all the way out to redline Sometimes it hits the limiter & then shifts. If I'm on an incline I dont use my brakes if its a steep incline my car rolls back, like a stick
I noticed that I gotten better gas milage. When your on the throttle hard and let off it holds in the gear doesnt shift right away.
While driving slow the shift is a bit more harsh.
The torque converter is just rebuilt for 500. I got it installed there of a good deal. It takes 3 working days.

Man...the improvements just from the torque converter sounds really good. I think the torque converter is running for $495. Does anyone have the whole transmission from level 10, besides MCHtypeS. If so...please post your improvements. Oh, btw... MCHtypeS, what improvements did you see from the level 10 tranny?

I originally thought the "stock" or "modified" converter would stay in lock-up after a given rpm or load, but it seems that the torque converter goes into partial lock depending on a set of tables in the computers.
So, I like the idea of the "beefed-up" converter, but wonder about all of this without a way to alter the lock-up behavior of the converter. Until my torque peak is at 7K, I don't know that I would want the unit moving off the torque peak on grades.
Please tell me I'm wrong...
