Does anyone have any products from level ten? on their website their torque converter is 498 $ has anyone put one on their cls?
does this make the tranny stronger?

 

MCHtypeS put it on his 3.5l CL-S before. I belive it raises the idle or something.

 

nah, it just makes the torque converter stronger. Doesn't do a damn thing for the tranny. Infact, since more power is being transfered from the coverter to the tranny you could say that it's worse for cls trannies because it puts more stress on the tranny. You'd have to get the level 10 tranny upgrade for that.....

 

It raises the stall speed.

 

Why couldn't they give us the full Level 10 Bullet Proof tranny rebuild?

Shit is only a couple thousand isnt it?

Robb, let us know what they say about the warranty and what hp/torque numbers the hardened tranny will support.

 

I have heard so many things bad about L10, especially on Supras. But it's all we got, so astro give it a try.

 

i have talked to level 10 and they can make us a custom tranny for about 2200 dollars, thats a hell of alot stronger than ours. as far as the torque it HELPS OUR TRANNYS ALOT, if you ask MCHtypeS he said it worked great and he had no tranny problems after he put it on and he had about 360hp. he also had a accord V6 modded like my CL with out the converter with 320hp and his tranny blew in 4 months.

IT HELPS THE TRANNY SO IT DOESN'T HAVE TO WORK AS HARD AND PLUS CAN HOLD MORE POWER THAN STOCK CONVERTER.
