Has anyone else received this letter from thier dealership? Just curious if it's worth looking into, any imput would be appreciated.

Its just your typical advertising, offering you everything as a come-on, to get you onto the showroom floor. If it sounds a little too good to be true, get it in WRITING.

 

The most common car marketing scam out there.

 

Yeah...figured as much, as if getting my money once wasn't good enough.

I've got a couple of them over time...

 

I haven't gotten any from Acura yet. I get them all the time for my Nissan. Anytime you see a letter that says "authorized to offer UP to 115%," a red light should go off in you brain that they will NOT offer you that much.

 

I received the same letter and promptly "filed" it away!

1st warning flag: "up to 115%"
2nd warning flag in the fine print: "Fair trade-in value is less reconditioning (minimum $425)".

 

Yeah, I got mine (Acura of Memphis). I laughed about the part where they claim to be trying to meet the "special" need for used Acura's.

 

especially the damn CL...it's easier giving away a used condom than this car. well not quite but y'all know what i mean.
