Whats up from AZ. I just got a 01 3.2CL (non s-type) wondering if you could all help me locate some performance parts. I cant find crap. I can find a pulley system and an AEM intake but thats it. Any help would be great.

In short - Mods by performance gains

Intake: Comptech Icebox > AEM - 8-10 whp

Headers: Comptech Headers > Stone, Alphawerks - Basically all are a copy of the comptech but non comptechs have had fitment issues - 25-30 whp

Exhaust: Usually a waste, unless you are in it for the sound. Is a plus if you are SC'd. Different makes are greddy evo2, comptech axleback, HKS, etc. - 2-3 whp

Springs: H&R Sport Spring w/Koni's, or TEIN Coilovers.

Depends on what you are looking for from the intake. Loud sound = AEM. The Comptech sounds a little louder than stock, but nothing like the AEM. Personally I like the Comptech more than the AEM.

If you're looking for gains, I would get headers. They are definately more expensive, but worth it. If cash is an issue, I would just get the intake for now, and save uo for headers.

thanks for the help. I owned a 96 S-10 4.3L with about 3k in perf. parts and stereo. It's a different game when it comes to the CL. Besides I got leather now. gotta represent the CL!!!!!
