Lemon Law?
Lemon Law?
I am just curious, has anyone turned a car in because of the lemon law? With all of the transmissions being replaced I was just wondering if anyone has done this? How many times does something have to go wrong before it can be classified as a lemon? Thanks for the info
I believe in Michigan, the vehicle has to go back more than 3 times for the same problem. Or if the vehicle has been in the shop for more than 30 days the first year for problems not caused by driver error. Such as crooked steering alignment, bad transmission, bad engine, whatever.
But even then, the companies will fight it. Document EVERYTHING. Preponderance of evidence -- whoever has more evidence wins.

I exchanged my 2001 CLS for a 2003 CLS 6speed using the Lemon Law in Florida. It was easy to do. My car sat at the dealership for almost seven weeks awaiting a new transmission. More people should have taken advantage of the Lemon Law.

Ok and how much was ur usage fee. There is no way that I can believe that the dealer gave u a '03 as a trade without charging u a usage fee. Unless u've got ends with the dealership.
