Legend Coupe w/'01 CL S wheels

Went past a black Legend Coupe w/'01 CL Type S wheels. Looked very sharp! Anyone have pics?

I'm still waiting to see the brand new Accords with our '01 CL Type S wheels. Guess Acura should've lowered the price many years ago to feed the curbed / scratched aftermarket instead of having to pawn them off on unassuming new car buyers five years later. They missed the boat on that opportunity.

Anyhow, it is nice to see our '01 wheels still getting some use. Everything comes back into fashion at some point, I suppose...8 track anyone?

I saw an Accord on honda.com with these Acura wheels but no info if they are standard or an option. They are not shown on 'build a car' or on the accessories pages for any of the Accord configurations I could see.
What's the story on it?

It appears that the 2006 Accord (I think it's the 6spd sedan model) uses the 2nd gen TLS rims... I'm not sure if they are standard on what models.

https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...ghlight=accord has pics from the dealers lot.

Jack_N_Coke makes the comparison on page 31 (how the cls and tls rims are slightly different, so it appears that its the TLS rims that are being re-issued).

Page 33 has more pictures...

There are definite differences in the CLS and TLS rims. The CLS have a part of the spoke that sticks out more, and the spokes are little diff widths.

here's a TLS rim, but a side angle view might help see the shape difference better. someone with a CLS rim closeup should post it.

A CLS rim.
Lip, shape and width of spokes are different. I think the finish is the same, but doesn't look like it in these 2 photos.

I was surfing thru one of the legend forums and saw that the CL/TL rims won't fit the legend unless they center hole is bored out...

Acura TL, CL Wheel Info
TL/CL rims will NOT directly fit onto the Legend without boring the centers first.
They must be bored to 70.2mm in order to fit properly.
