LEDs in Stock Tail Lights?

Tried searching, but couldn't find any posts on putting LED replacement bulbs into the CL-S stock light assembly...

has anyone done this and are they pleased with the result??

Jeremy

Here's the PIAA part #'s for their respective bulbs... if you want to go that route:

19172: Maps, Doors, Trunk & License
19223: Dome
19224: Roadlamps
19225: Reverse

that would look HOT like the g35 I dont see why not if they replace the 168 wedge design...they are more exensive and less reflective but give out a nicer, more elegant lighting like the Cadillacs

damn you're here one day and coming up with great mods

but the rear are not wedge design they are the 17 series do they make them in that application

I would put the PIAAs in the turning signals and keep the stock reverse lighting but put the LEDS in the braking which would be red

dont put them in the stock fogs cause scooter tried them and they look so dim they looked like the batter was dying

but the higher wattage ones for the fogs that match the HIDS I think M7 POlargs

M6 Polarg Hyper White... I often wonder how they'd compare to my PIAA 19224s since all they really do is look like a bright dot in the middle of my road lamps.

piaas will look terrible and they only send light in one direction. dotn buy them. that accord looks like shit. circle and square led clusters? wtf is with that. looks unclassy and def not oem. if you really want led retro some bmw 7 series, g35, or similar into your tailamp. aftermarket trailer led units just dont look oem. and buliding your own cluster is very hard.

ahhh cmon it doesn't look that bad...

I agree they should't have mixed the square and circles together but maybe he was just trying to show off what he could do.

I have the same car (4DR accord) and was thinking about doing something similar with leds but looking at those pics they just look a little too bright for my taste. I'm getting older and attracting unwanted attention is not what I'm going for...

I like the LED look...I see the bulbs that are direct fits into our already existing sockets... also saw some LEDs the other day that were intriguing... thay had 24 HID LEDS in a circle pattern pointing straight out from the fittings... and then another 12 also in a circle, but at a 90 degree angle from the other lights...

So instead of just pointing straight out and not illuminating the inside of the reflector, 24 point out and the other 12 simply spread the light around the mirrored inside of the fitting...

Looked nice, will try to find that picture...
