Led interior conversion

Hello Everyone,

I know there are threads out there on this topic but I have not been able to find the answers I need. I am looking to replace the interior lights in my vehicle with LED white bulbs. The problem I am running into is that I have found different threads with different bulbs numbers. I have also been on superbrightleds.com website and I am having a hard time locating the correct bulbs. Can anyone assist me with the best website to order from and the bulb numbers I need.

Thanks in advance for everyone’s help!

Did you check out the threads from Mr. Fluffy?

I think he had posted a lot of stuff on LED conversion.

You can start with the dome lights, map lights, etc...they are all plug and play. (pnp)
You can find sizes here,
http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProd...lacementGuide/

As for lights in the dash, like climate control and whatnot, you need to solder those...I opted to solder rather than pnp these.
You will just need to order 5mm and 3mm leds for the dash and window switches.

LMK if you need help with anything.

ANC297,
I would love to do the dash lights but not sure if I am up to that yet. I was just wanting to do the dome, map, and door lights. I was just hoping there was someone who could tell me a website to use and the exact bulbs I need. I searched other threads and found part numbers for superbrightleds.com, but I still didn't feel too confident I was ordering the right parts....

I did the same thing to my car. I hope this can be as helpful to you as it was to me...

Also, when replacing the dome light, measure your old bulb to make sure you have the right one. I remember ordering a size larger then what the guide said because it's shorter on the website (just use a ruler to figure out the necessary length of the bulb).

The only bulbs you need to solder are the door bulbs. I haven't gone that far yet, but I have converted my entire interior to led (white). Just go on ebay and look for T3 T4 T5 led bulbs. There are 2 or 3 different sizes that you need for the climate, clock, gauges, etc. The only bulbs that are funky are the three for the little car and mileage in the middle. Its a wedge bulb, 174 i think. I have a thread somewhere with the number and type you need but it was so long ago...
