Leather on steering wheel flaking

Jesus Christ, Acura! First it was the seats, now the leather is flaking off the steering wheel. What kind of cheap ass pleather did they put in this car. 40k miles and the interior already looks 10 years old.

I always put a steering wheel cover on mine and it looks new still.

My interior is beige so I got a plain beige cover. It look good too.

Just go to Target. They carry plain ones in all colors (i think)

As far as the seats. You gotta clean and condition them from day one to keep them looking new.

I have the same problem with the steering wheel and seats. Should I take it into the dealer and make them replace it?

Almost 30K, looks as good as the day I got it.

A little Lexol works pretty well.

Its not acura's fault you neglected your leather. I always use lexol leather conditioner on every leather surface in my car and use a sunscreen in the windsheild. This is the only way to keep your interior from fading and cracking

Who say's I or anyone else who's leather is cracked or flaking if neglecting their leather? I clean and condition my leather on a regular basis, but this just started to show up a couple of months ago. Not everyone that buys a car with leather is going to be as anal about "protecting" it as some people. I just expect 3 year old leather to still look relatively new.
