Question leather boot

hey guys quick question.....how do you put a leather shift boot on an our automatic? also what kind is it and where can i get it?

I don't think you can. I once saw an RSX automatic with a leather boot and it looked like poseur city and didn't fit too well.

if your going to do it, try to keep the type s knob. I think it would probably look better than one from pepboys.

I think keep the Type s knob, with the boot matched to your car color would look smooth.

Looks great. I think most automatic shift gates look ugly and cheap.
BMW uses boots and so does the Acura RL (Japanese Legend Version).

Check in the FAQS area, I think someone posted a thread with pics on removing the center console trim. Good Luck and please post your results. I'm still thinking about doing this.

Hey- I would like to do this mod but I havent found the directions how to remove the center. I have tried searching but I am having trouble. Does anyone have the link to how to do this mod? As well, The very cool 07 TL shift knob will fit on my 01 Automatic, right? They all just screw on.
