Lease Residual & Tinted Windows

I already talked to two different Acura finance guys (different dealers) and asked about the effect of the residual value of the car at the lease end if the car has tinted windows. They said that there are no problems whatsoever.

I wanted to know if anyone had turned in their CLs (with tinted windows) after the lease expired.

Thanks for the input.

every car I ever leased I turned in with tints, no biggie, If they dont like your tints, they just peel them off. It doesnt effect resale at all

Yeah, but they may charge* you to remove the tint & prepare for resale. It's not the dealer you need to ask, it's the leasing company directly. Anything over a scratch for most leases means $$$, don't let them bite you in the ass with a bill 2 months from now.

I talked to a Honda lease rep about it. He said tint is not a problem as long as it is in good shape, not fading, or peeling, or some wierd color, & the windshield is not tinted.
