Lean at Idle (e-manage, S/Cer & I/C)
Okay got my first issue with exactly 14,000 miles on the friggen car.
put the smaller boost pulley on last night... (9lbs.)
my car ran like an animal...
came home..
this morning, I go to start the car and the A/F ratio is off the map LEAN... 16.7 17.0 +
so I shut it down... it just does not sound right..
I have no I/C leaks.
someone enlighten me, if you ran into this issue and what you did to solve it...
My quess is that a value has to be off on the e-manage.

First of all, what's your fuel pressure? I mentioned this before, but my fuel regulator hose on the IC was rubbing on the power steering hose. It wore a hole in it and the car went lean. My bad, that would increase your fuel pressure at idle.
Here's something else I ran into, check the rpm wire on the E-Manage. My connection was lost and the car ran like a turtle. The E-Manage will think the idle is always at 500 rpm, thus your settings at 500 rpm will be the only values in effect.

Even if the AFR shows lean, the ECU will correct for it. If the ECU cannot correct for it, it will throw a code. Do you have any DTC's? Sometimes with the E-Manage, the AFR acts wierd when idling... hits 16... even 18 for a second or two. Check the connections on the harness.

Smitty says he removed the e-manage and put back on the stock blower shaft pulley and the car runs fine.
He also said he thinks one of the cylinders wasn't firing at all. He pulled one of the injector clips off from the front passenger side injector and there was no change in the way the car sounded or idled. He plugged that back on and tried the next cylinder and the car sounded like shit.
Without the e-manage the car sits perfectly at 14.7 while @ idle.
Sounds like an e-manage and/or wiring harness problem.

He said the car ran extremely well last night. Plenty rich with fuel pressure at 100psi and AFR around 11.0:1 during WOT.

Was that with or without the E-manage?

Yep, spoke a while ago. Waiting to hear back though. I'm going to bed soon so I'll have to wait until tomorrow.
But from what we could tell there may have been a connection issue. But more importantly, it appears the map was lost form the E-Manage. When he uploaded the program from the Main unit he could change any of the settings indicating that the correct map was not loaded.
I pre-loaded all units but I guess I could have made a mistake. Or maybe something can happen in transit. Either way I will need to change the instructions to account for this and the program will need to be loaded by the user.

yeah Steve it is late so I did not call back....
It seems the map on the e-manage got lost.. no worries I uploaded the map took the car for a ride and I was running rich in the upper RPM (6lb pulley)... Went back, put the 9lb boost pulley on and went for a spin...
10.8-11.2 A/F
Pegged Fuel Pressure 100 then went back down to 95 psi
Boost was in the 7-8 psi range... I set the light to trigger at 9.. have not seen it yet..
I need to do some some tuning with Scalbert.
I have to admit, the car is a whole different animal.... it pulls very hard.
Thanks for your help guys.
Scalbert, let me know what values you need from me so you can help me tune.

I would first try and back off on fuel pressure to maybe 30 PSI at idle with 20inHG vacuum. Then report back on the A/F numbers. I would feel better with the fuel; pressure down some. We can fine tune later on.
