Laid waste to a 4th gen Maxima

I was on the highway going about 70 when this guy in a green 97-98 Maxima pulls next to me. We both look at each other and with three honks of the horn we are off. I jump off first and by 125 I have 2-3 cars on him. IMO 4th gear is bad but it was enough to hold him off. BTW he wasn't stock you could hear the CAI when we took off.

i had a race with one of these dudes in the same situation as you. Those things aren't so slow. I was expecting to leave him in the dust even in fourth gear. I slowly pulled away and took the victory but i was suprised. From the lower gears in 30mph rolling start i just annihilated the car. I must've been atleast 1/4 ahead.
