When I crank the engine, especially after the car has sit for a while, there is this unfamiliar one time knocking sound as the engine is starts. I suspecting that one of the engine mount is shot but the question is which one? Any comments 01 CL-S owners?

 

This noise is normal and cannot be corrected .Per Acura we were advised that the engine mounts in some situations can make a audible knock or pop sound .It is not correctable and should be viewed as normal operation of the car .
