i forgot wtf oversteer and understeer are...

All i know is with the stock suspension the comptech front sway bar stiffens the front end a LOT... which i like, don't get me wrong. but since i don't have it lowered or different suspension and i am running so so tires, there is a lot of room for the rear to begin swaying all over again. the rear feels sloppy in comparison after adding it. I got the rear Progress sway bar ON STIFF which balanced things out perfectly IMHO before the front sway bar. and I got moog links all around now.

I went from stock links and sway bar to moog links and comptech front sway bar. ON WINTER TIRES! so i couldn't really tell the full effects of the mod cause the winters add soOooo much damn sway it's retarded.

If i don't get 100 for it i will keep it and throw it on in the summer to see if i like it with the summer tires, and if i don't i'll wait till i get it lowered and then the first thing i'll do is add it back on. but for now, it's 100$ i could have that I don't meanwhile it could be someone else's enjoyment.

I'm selling it for what i paid for it. You re-use your old mounts (it's the same thickness, just a different material i believe.) Super easy install, took me like 15-20 mins at MAX

there was not even a noticeable difference in weight, I compared the 2 and it's very close.

there must not be much of a hollow spot in the OEM one i guess, but damn the aftermarket one made a difference

Hah im sticking with keeping a rear bar only. It already handles amazing cause it's lowered and has that Limited slip diff.

idk. It's the Eibach Pro kit. There are springs out there that can go a little bit lower, like the tein kit

Thanks.

The rear sway was the best $130 i have ever spent.

I can take turns more than 10mph faster than i could before. I can understeer now and it feels like it's more AWD than FWD!

yea i got the rear sway bar and it changed a LOT... i did the moog links at the same time so... it could have been a bit of the links, but either way the result was amazing. I was gonna get coilovers cause i hated the sway, but between new links in the front and rear and a rear sway bar I decided it was more than what i'd be needing. I am VERY happy with the handling of the car right now.. until something breaks I will ride out what i got

rear sway bar is a must!

but the front would be the icing on the cake (which is why i bought it).
Just didn't know it worked THAT well, which is way i took it off and was gonna wait till i get coilovers or springs to throw it back on. But if i can get 100 for it, then i guess I will part with it.

Yes to 850csi.

My dream car would probably be a Ferrari F40. Ive always loved the way it looked. The F50 wasnt bad either but the F40 started it all for me.

If I had to go new it would have to be the Lambo Gallardo Balboni edition, which says alot because I hate Lambos, but that car is fucking awesome.

^ I hate new cars. I love cars that are somewhat outdated and rare. Like the 850csi or in our case the CL.

But lets not take this more off topic than it already is.
(98JDMCL needs to gives us more PICS AND UPDATES or else were all just gonna get too bored and go off topic by accident

The Lambo and R8 are doable if you put your mind to it (and work your ass off)

The 850csi's are still kinda expensive for a clean model. If I could get my hands on a Dinan edition Id scoop it up in a heartbeat. The design of the 8 series is over 10 years old, but I think it aged very well, just like the Acura Legend (black/black coupe Type II 6MT please!).

One of my friends has a Grand National. He did a shitload of work to it. The only reason I dont like the car is because it was only available as an automatic. Ive never owned an auto, and I never will.

The 850csi is probably my favorate car next to the 2002 Porsche GT2.

A clean, Black/Black 850csi with low miles can be bought in the ballpark of $50,000-$60,000 if the mileage is really low.

They do have a history though of being very expensive to repair. Sometimes their computers go out and cost more than $8,000 to fix!

That will never stop me from buying one though. I will own this car one day.

Best looking BMW ever made. They call it the landshark.

The Mclaren F1 based it's engine specifically off of this car.

Now you know

If the CL-S 6-Speed never existed, then i'd probably be driving a Turbo'd 6-speed Legend Coupe right now. Seriously. I love how it looks

do you plan on actually tracking ur car so u can potentially use the hook?

you do know you have an auto cl right?

I've heard many bad things about tracking an auto CL... I hope you know what the possibilities are bro

dude it's a FRONT sway bar, i said sway bar ever time I was talking about it... it's not a strut bar.

lol I think u misunderstood what I meant by sway bar..

it goes under the car, ur thinking I had the strut bar for the engine bay right?? yea it's not that.

The CL comes with a 4 point strut there's no point in replacing it IMHO

looks like I will be keeping it.

so you were referring to the top strut bar right??

sall good

I cannot imagine the aftermarket strut bar doing anything for the driveability... aside from looks, but it's under the hood, the amount of times u'll show people or look at it urself isn't worth it. Just paint ur strut bar if u really want looks. That's what I was gonna do, but it's time wasted in my opinion.
