Killed a wrx impreza this morning!

I was at the stop light heading to work and there was a silver wrx impreza (non STI) next to me gave me a little rev....

At first I wasn't gonna do it but this guy was a total dousche bag!

The light turned green and I got on it, I had it in SS but my traction control was still on (didn't really think about it at the time), and my car started pulling on him hard! His front-end was at my passengers side door when I shifted into second I pulled about another 1/2 car length, and the whole time all I could hear was his blow off valve, that fuckin thing was loud!!

When I shifted into 3rd I was a full car ahead and then he backed off.

I was so stoked afterwards with this being my first actual real race in the cl since I sold my gsr. Not counting all those riced out civics tring to flex. haha!

I love this fuckin car!!!

what WRX are you guys talking about? we're not supposed to have anything to do with one, especially from a dig. MAYBE when their turbo isn't spooled up yet after a downshift like on the freeway.

btw. wrong forum, bub.

It was the baseline wrx impreza.... Def. not the STI there is no way I could hang, A guy I work with rallys his STI and that shit is SERIOUS!!

Now had I raced this guy on the interstate then Yes I would have lost but only because his turbo is allready spooled up.

I just have a AEM CAI w/ a K&N Filter, "Comptech" style stainless headers. Im putting on my VAFCII next week when I get paid as well as my JDM fuel pressure regulator.

Yeah I didn't realize the thread should be elsewhere but I thought it wouldn't hurt to let ya'll know about it.

my frind has a 02 WRX, he has a downpipe, uppipe on it and full catback exhaust form the downpipe( he has no cats on it what so ever) he's done some pulls with it and and it's quick, with an Accessport he'll be above the STI stock power level by a bit. those turbo's in te 2.0 spool a little slower then the new 2.5 liter motor, but once it hits boost hold on!. i'm looking at getting a legacy GT which i will turn into monster and be quicker then his his WRX and be rnning 12's easily. the WRX's are quick with a bit of stuff done to them.
