Well my Friday the 13th is goin bye pretty shitty. . .Today when I got out of class I was walking to my car when I noticed these marks on my drivers side door. I thought maybe it was just some smudged dirt or something, but when I got closer I realized it was a key mark. It's so deep that it goes all the way down to the bare metal. . .through Primer/Paint/Clearcoat and all. Whoever did it is a low life scumbag, and when I find out who it was, they're dead!!! So now the money I had saved up for some headers is going to now have to be used to repair the damage on my car. I would never wish this upon anyone. It's such a terrible feeling, and just knowing I might not ever find out who did it makes it ten times worse. . .

ooh im sorry, thats gonna really cost ya.. how were you parked? ask for security cameras, do something and man just park you car away from everyone else, saves the headache.. plus your eighteen with quite possibly the sickest car an 18 year old can have so i would expect that.. id just touch it up man no need to fix now

 

dang you must have pissed someone off, or they are jealous. i have tons of scratches and knicks on my car all over from people. im not getting anything fixed till i get a garage or i stop parking my car on campus cause it just gets worse and worse

 

Yeah, I'd agree too. Sucks... I park waaaaaaaay far away from other cars. It happened to be twice. My car wasnt keyed but hit!! Lots of paint chips were all over the ground. Costly.

Well. Let you know one thing HondaVtec21.. that guy who keyed your car. He doesnt want your car... He wants to rob you of your joy... So dont let him. I am pretty sure that guy will get what he deserves. RIGHT???

Yesterday I got a fat door ding about 4in top to bottom, pissed me off yesterday. White paint imbeded on my blk and theres a dent. I didnt notice it till I got back to my office so I dont know who did it

I feel your pain, I dont know how white would look but I wouldn't use touch up paint it made my look on blk

 

Sucks man. I constantly find dings from old or careless people opening their doors into mine, even when I park far away. And I've had someone back into my bumper when parked, thankfully I was there to witness it. It'll definitely come back to the person that did it. Karma always balances things out in the end.

 

mine is keyed bad too. i have about a 3-4 inch on the rear quarter panel of my car. it looks really bad because its a white scratch on a NBP car. you could see it for miles lol.

That is very true!! All I could do now is be patient and wait to have it fixed. As far as ever driving that back to school, f*ck thatt!! I got another month and a half left. . .I'll just grab a ride with a friend, or walk. Now that I know someone out there is jealous or hates me/my car for whatever reason, I'll NEVER take it to school.

That is so fuckin low. They do it on the driver side door just so you have to see it everyday and get pissed ounce again everyday when you go to your car. F*ck those idiots.

 

Did u race anyone like within the last two days or cut someone off pretty badly? Sadly, little things like that would get some pissed off to the point that they would damage ur car like that. But yea..just people said here, park ur car away from others and dont' play your music loud or drive real fast where people would get pissed off if they observe it...that's what I do. I mean...it gets to the point where u can only pray that when u get back, you just hope no one did anything stupid like key/hit ur car.

Wait a while before you respray it cause if that person knows that you are respraying the car asap, more than likely he will do it again just to break your balls and wallet. Touch it up and wait a while!

Last week a couple of other teenagers (different time, different place each) have shot dirty looks at me and my car when I get out of it after parking and I'm like wtf, I drive mellow almost all the time and I don't have anything flashy on my car. Nothing like that has ever happened to me before w/ the CL. The crazy thing is one of them was driving a brand new v6 pontiac G6, and I'm like what the hell, my car is 6 years old and your hating on me when your NEW car is quite nice.

So what do I do? just shrug it off, remember the car and the plate #'s and see where he parks, if I find anything suspicious on my car...well you can imagine the rest.

that sucks so much. thats just something no one should do, unfortunetly your at the age and park in a place where a stranger would do that for no good reason...just to get the satisfactory out of being a dick.

take CLASSY's advise and dont do it right away because the culprit is still walking around watching your car. and after you get that fixed you should put on at least 10 coats of wax so another key scratch wont go as deep.

ive thought about taking off my acurazine.com stickers because i would hate to find damage done to my car just because a person knows I belong to a forum and wants to read a thread of me bitching. you just cant trust anyone

 

i had the same thing happen to my car back at the beginning of january. i never took pics but mine was ALOT worse. there is about 5 scratches on the back of the trunk, one on the bumper, and a long scratch starting by the tail light all the way to the door on the drivers side. i washed, waxed, and then put 2 coats of that touch up paint on it. it looks better from far away but is still very noticable. stupid people just wont get enough. the same punk that did this to my car threw a beer bottle at my car the other night. it landed about 4 or 5 feet from my car and the glass got every where. all under the car, on the sides of the car, and a couple of pieces on the car. lets just say his ugly mid 90's grand marquise had alittle meeting with a baseball bat and his parents cadillac had 2 valve stems cut of. i have a security camera set up at my house now so if he decides to come back ill catch him and put him back in jail

That's total crap. I am a woman and would never in a million years no matter what some douche bag did to me, would key a persons car. I just noticed today on my 01 CL that there is a f*cking long scratch like some idiot just walked the distance of my driver door. I am so mad. But after seeing yours I feel a lot worse for you. Mine isn't that deep. Sorry that happened to you.

 

DAMN i am SOOOOOOOO sorry that happened to you man. I know first hand hw it feels i am still in highschool and belive me there are alot of HATERS around. I get dirty looks just drivin around school. you know what it is its jealous piece of shit low lifes who are pissed because they drive piece of shit $2000 saturns and have nothing better to do than find the nicest car in the lot and fuck it up and they think it gives them gratification. I got my pay back because we have security cameras in my school and i am very close to the deans in my school so i saw who it was on the camera footage so i went to his car and took all the air out of his tires and i broke his taillights and headlights.

Still man, no matter what the cause, you should never do something to someones car. Don't break his headlights or tail lights. . .crack his jaw open and teach him a lesson never to f*ck with your car again. I tell people all the time. . .If you don't like me, hit me. . .just don't touch my car.

If and when I find out which piece of sh*t did that did that to my car, I'm not gunna take it out of their car. . .No, I'm gunna take it out on them, and I'm gunna make it extremely painful. . .Not because I'm a sick in the head, but because any scumbag c*cksuckin' jerkoff that is LOW enough to f*ck with someones car should be destroyed. It's seriously the lowest most pussy thing someone can do.

If your jealous of someones car because its nicer than yours, Or if you can't even afford a car, You do one of two things:

A. You go out and get a job so you can make money and buy a decent car.
OR
B. You find a job and make money to make your car better/nicer.

I still can't picture how some jealous asshole could just sit back and say, "ohh, so and so has a nice car so I'm gunna key it because if I don't get to enjoy it, neither should they."

The truth of the matter is that "so and so" has a nice car because they worked hard to get it(like I along with most of you did) So what that person should do rather than ruin a nice thing, Is go out and get a job and work for what they want. You don't walk around parking lots and take your jealousy/envy out on someones car. By doing that, you give a whole new meaning to the word LOW

Dude you are absolutely right when i look back on it what i did was wrong because it made me no better than him. I was acting out of pure rage and wasnt thinking but i knew the guy and he was junking his car anyway so i did him a favor. Plus if i would have tried to fight him he would have kicked the shit out of me because he is huge lol!! But i totally agree with you dont take your anger on someones car becuse you are jelous of what they have or for any reason.

Well as long as you did it out of rage, I can see where your coming from. If I caught the bastard in the act or on camera, I'd probably do something stupid that I'd later regret too.

Anyway, I'm going to a friend of mine who does body work on Tuesday to get an estimate on what it's going to cost to fix that. . .Hopefully it doesn't put a hole in my pocket!!

 

yep i got a 8 inch keymark in my rear quater panel its just not quite as deep as ypours. just remember its epople hating!!! and haters are fans. its sucks you gotta fix it now but like you said school almost over..
