Has anyone tried either of these drop in air filters??? Which is better??? Is either worth the effort and money???

 

I would get K&N since they are known for there filters. I have one but the power differance isn't that great. You can tell the intake sound is a little louder at WOT but other than that not that much of a differance. Im just happy to know that the car is breathing better than the stock filter and that I don't have to get a new filter every now and then. For 50 dollars I thinks its worth it if your not going to get a CAI. Im just gonna keep mine one until I get a real CAI, from either Injen or Aem.

I would get the Comptech.

1. They're made for our Acuras, not everything else under the sun.
2. All things being equal, it's nice to support one of the few companies that make aftermarket parts specifically for CL's and TL's.
3. Comptech is a company with a good reputation.
4. The people who work there are really honest & helpful. They don't try to snow you with inflated claims or pretend to know the answer when they don't.
