Im looking at buying the K & N filter for my car, a 2002 CL type S. I got the part number, 33-2178, but I am planning on getting an AEM (blue) intake later. Does this mean that ill lose my air filter, or do you use both in it? any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

if you're talking about..replaceing your OEM filter panle style with the K&N then yes when you get the AEM it will come with a cone filter at the end of a tube...you may want to try the K&N and remove you lower resonator...which by the way you'll have to do anyway if you go aem...but you may just decide to put the AEM money towards the MM
