Question Just Wondering if this Silicone will Seal My Headlights?

HAHA, mine looks exactly like that, I believe it will, but are you going to remove the lense to dry... Thats what I have been trying to figure out, I cant get the damn thing off. Acura wants $450 for brand new housing. I'll let you know if any other ideas, or let me know.

Bake It?

Bake the whole housing? To get the lens off? or to bake the silicone on?

you bake it in the oven to loosen the old glue and break the headlight apart. i believe you use windshield sealant, i wouldn't use silicone.

when u take it off I suggest that u use like a swimmer defogger (like for goggles) on the inside of the lens (just in case)....and i think that should product should work ( i used some weather one from walmart) ....gl on the project

Or do it the old fashion way; Spit in the inside of the housing.

I hate to see My Headlight like this, I have been TOLD that the condensation will Affect the HID components "BULB"...SO I need to get this Fixed ASAP!...Yeah I'll let you know I'm going to bake it on Monday...I hope it will work.

use high temp silicone..

The shop around here that does custom headlight stuff uses that RTV silicone, usually black or clear. Squeeze the headlight/lense tight together when you silicone it back. You should be fine with that. Good luck!

Scary Scary process.........I would be afraid of being a dumbass, and getting distracted while they were in the oven! LOL, we know what a mess that would be.....
