just thought of this...
A VW Jetta III GLX VR6 5speed with i/e or stock..whichever..versus..well..stock first gen 2.2 or 3.0 maybe with i/e as well and versus some of your 2nd gen cls. just thought of this for some reason...i figure the 1st gens would lose but i dunnoo

Those Jetta's have a 174hp VR6. 2.x's only have 145-150. Jetta is lighter and will smoke the CL easily. A 2nd gen CL will smoke it with no problem. I was looking into one of these Jetta's when I get rid of the CL. They are pretty quick, especially modded.
