Just saw a Type-S with a bodykit, WTF

While driving to work this morning....I saw something that caught my eye. It was a silver Type-S with a bodykit. Did i miss something? I thought there were no kits available yet.

the kit included a side-skirt, front lip (under the bumper), and a piece under the rear bumper. It look PHAT.

If there is anybody on this board that knows of a body kit available for the Type-S, please let me know.

It was a CL Type-S.

After owning the car for 6 months, i think i can differentiate between a CL and a TL.

theres one in my area w/ a kit. My buddy is sponsored by a body shop and he said they molded a kit on one, but he doesn't know what kit, and doesn't have pics. I think it may be the one that someone said some guy from tradors was talking about.

Custom kits are not impossible. What you saw was a made to order kit. Go have a custom kit made.

How does one know ahead of time if it will look good or bad if it's custom (never been made before)?

Computer graphics. If its a good shop they should be able to show you. Now granted you wont know for sure until its put on the car.

they usually take kits made for other similiar cars and make it fit. For example that kit i was telling you i knew about was really a kit for a new accord. Usually they do this with the ricier of bumpers

my mom and bestfriend have told me to tell you guys to stop telling me to spend my money; they are tired of my automobiles getting pampered and them getting whats left over which usually consists of change I find in my car by doing things you guys encourage

I probably would never get a body kit but I sure as hell would take a new front bumper that wasn't so pointy.

Also it would be cool if it had round fog lamps built into it instead of the shitty lamps we have now.
