Just saw a CLS beat a porsche 911 turbo

I was coming back from lunch, at a red light on RT17. I was in fast lane, a white CLS pulled up next to me, it was a pretty cute blonde, we both looked at each other and smiled. Then light turned green, we both drove off normally, all the sudden a 911 turbo cuts to the slow lane and looked at the blonde, the blonde knodded her head and they both took off, so i floored my car to try to keep up and watch the race. the 911 turbo had the lead, when i was about 50mph, both cars were like 6 car spaces in front of me, the 911 still had the lead. All the sudden, i saw sparks, small flames coming out of the CLS, and that thing took off like a fighter jet, she instantly got up to like 4 car spaces in front of the 911 turbo and she just kept going, when the porsche back out and flashed his hazard lights, the CLS was about 1/2 mile maybe or a little less away. I was liek NICEE!!!!! Did that chick had NOS or something? is that what the flames/sparks coming out of the exhaust were? Anyways at the next light the porsche guy was next to me and was like, god that was embarrassing, what the hell did that chick have in her car.... haha

How is it that you always line up with people at the red lights and they start talking to all of a sudden?

BTW, nice kill if its true...

i try to be the first car in the red light, i'll slow down and hope it turns green or speed up to cut to be the first car at the light. Plus is just happens that my timing is always right. Like how I am always lucky with cops, i would speed then all of a sudden slow down and there would be a cop, I cant explain it, it just happens. All these is true by the way, theres no reason for me to make stuff up.

Now come on...a 911 turbo? Even running on rocket fuel, a CLS couldn't be 4 car lengths in front and widening the lead. Maybe what you saw was the afterburner?

I just told what i saw. The porsche was old. haha i dunno. it might not even been a turbo, i dont know porsches that well, maybe the kid just put a turbo sign on a nonturbo porsche, he did have alot of gauges and stuff on his dash but all the needles were all the way at the left side which i thought was weird???

SPARKS?

WTF is up with the sparks? Maybe that was her tranny becoming self-aware of its inadequacies?

Even a mid 90's 911 would beat a CLS with NOS. Man do you realize how much mid range power those beasts have? Now a 911T/TT? Fuggedaboutit!

My boss has an '01 911 Cabriolet. Smash you into the seatback highway power. However, the clutch is extremely difficult to learn. Totally different than any other manual I've driven. I would imagine that if the driver was inexperienced, he might lose. But if you know how to drive these cars right, they smoke almost anything, especially in turbo form.
