Just purchsed an 03 CL
So I'll be on this board time to time. I work for an Acura dealer and they had a nice Anthractie 6MT with 27k that showed up on our lot... a lease return. It was so mint I just had to buy it. $22,500 (it's certified). It's bone stock but I may add a spoiler.
Anyway... this is a cool board with a lot of nice rides on it.

5-6 thousand dollars later and I'm still not done, just starting a stereo, and some other projects, and approaching 13's NA ..

anyway welcome to the site and congrats on the purchase, I'm jealous, I have an automatic anthracite.

I know these cars are easy to mod. I live in San Francisco and don't want to attract too much attention to my car. Wouldn't want someone to swipe it.
I do plan on installing a shock sensor, clearing the front turn signals, adding the 02 driving lights, tint the windows slightly, maybe add a spoiler, and maybe when the time is right some grippier tires. But I don't want to make it louder or anything.
Thing is once you start to mod something, like the stereo, where does it stop? But looking at this site has shown some pretty cool stuff. It's a great place.
Cheers on the feedback. I'll post a picture sometime but, honestly, my new car looks like every other stock Anthracite 6MT CL-S.
I've driven nearly every type of Acura ever made and, aside from the NSX, like this CL the best.

I know the road lamps don't work, but they do make the car look better. Those plastic things that fill the space just look silly I think.
So swapping the headers and adding an icebox produce a gain of 30-40 hp? If you're pumping more air in, wouldn't the same volume of air need to be let out to produce a gain? Isn't the stock muffler more restrictive?
The Navi is cool and all, but in 5-10 years I don't think it'll age well. The TL Navi makes the CL Navi look like a Play Skool toy, in my opinion.

In addition, I definitely recommend a shock sensor. But you should get a good one and not have it set to sensitive. I would also get a tilt/motion sensor. Ultimately, a good aftermarket alarm system like a Clifford is the best way to go.
That looks like my car cept I tinted over the roadlamps and the amber deflectors. Would like one day to actually hook up the roadlamps! but don't think I can do it by myself.

I don't know off hand cause I have an aftermarket alarm, but there have been a number of threads on shock sensors. So doing a search should help you out.
