Just picked up a Comptech Supercharger. Advice?
Hi
New member over here.
I have a 98 accord j32a2 6 speed that I'll throw this in. Ecu is stock CL-S 6.
Using the CT signal modifier (for the map sensor) would I be alright just running stock boost? What would it be set at stock without any tune?
I know I'm missing out on lots of potential hp, but I'm ok with high 200's really
Thanks for any input!

If you have the default 3" alternator pulley that came with the kit from CT-E, voltage on the ESM Map signal modifier for the CL-S6 should be set at 2.93v.
If you have the high boost 3.275" alt pulley, voltage on the ESM Map signal modifier for the CL-S6 should be set at 2.93v.
If you want a stand alone ECU, the AEM EMS 30-6051, switched to hall sensors coupled with the AEM EMS 30-6051 to 2001-2003 Acura CL MT Boomslang harness can be used, if you have the $$$$ to go that tuning route.
Do a search, it has been discussed in the past.

Just making noise here, since you did not state if your S/C'er kit, with ESM, was specifically made for an automatic or manual transmission.

I've seen the ems 2, but didn't know boomslang had a harness.
I have an aem f/ic laying around...would that be good enough? Or go for the ems for the best tune?

If possible, post pictures of the kit.
Use the automatic CL-S S/C'er kit pictures, on the thread below, I recently sold to see if you have everything. There are also attachments for installation etc. that may help you.
SOLD: Comptech Sport Supercharger Kit;01-03 Acura 3.2CL-S;01-03 Acura 3.2 TL-S (Auto) - AcuraZine - Acura Enthusiast Community
If you are going to drive the car hard, IMHO, you should tune it properly.
Reference the thread below, it has information on the AEM EMS 30-6051 and Boomslang harness. The OP in that thread grenaded his CL-S6 J32A2 with just the CT-E ESM, so a proper tune would help with performance, in the long run, for a hard driven car.
7 - 8 lb S/C Pulley - AcuraZine - Acura Enthusiast Community
Good Luck!
