hey, what are your thoughts on kenne bell, we wanna put a blower on this thing

but some people have told me that it's better to build the motor for all motor instead of a blower.
it's the 5.4 DOHC v8
Scott,
Kenne Bell Blower which is a Whipple Blower will give you Boo Koo amounts of torque. There was a recent article in one of the Ford racing mags that had a Kenne Bell Blower install on a Ford Navi. I'll look for it but I believe I trashed it already. Why build the engine when parts are far and few for the 5.4L. Then you have to worry about smog! I suggest the blower hands down. It's cheaper than building a 5.4L engine and comparable on power. Unless, your building a 514 cubic inch engine.

Scott,
Call Jim Bell he is the owner of Kenne Bell to get some prices. I don't having any connections...sorry. Here is Kenne Bell's number 909-941-0985 (Tech Line). Ask them about Blower vs. engine build. The line is always busy but keep trying. Good Luck.

30 additional horses, elimination of governor, 8k redline, firmer tranny shifts....nothing much!
