i.e. how long is the backorder at this point?

Nobody is quite sure, but it'll be a while. They're being sent out on a first-come first-serve basis. You have to wait for everyone else to get theirs before yours will arrive.

It's been a couple months since i ordered, and i still haven't gotten mine so... you have a while to wait.

 

Well... I ordered mine February 22nd, and it shipped on Friday May 2nd. It should be here on Wednesday! I am so excited, I almost forgot I paid for it already :o.

Mike B at comptech said I should expect mine in a week or so .. he said they're almost caught up w/ production again...

 

They are almost caught up.. but it will probably take longer then a week. The orders from our group-buy are finally beginning to ship out, so one would imagine once those are caught up (our orders are from Februrary) in the next few weeks they should be all ready to go for new orders....
