Just order the M5 replica lip spoiler...

...off of c-c-c.net

I drive a San Marino red CLS. Will the spoiler just need to be painted or is there anything else that needs to be done with this exact spoiler before it's painted?

Just paint it, line it up, and stick it down. Just realize that once that tape hits the trunk it is stuck for good.

Great thanx,

just wanted to make sure there's nothing else that needed to be done before painting it.

I just ordered it today, so I don't know when I'll get it. As soon as I do, I'll probably take it to a body shop to get it painted and put on.

I'll post pics as soon as that's done.

How long does it usually take to receive stuff from C-c-c.net??

Not sure how the Bimmer dealers are at your place, but here in Houston a service guy was asking where I got mine and how much. He told me Bimmer dealers were charging $700. I got mine off ebay for $75, then body shop I know hooked me up for free paint and install. IMO just get it from ccc or ebay, then go to reputable shop or ask dealer where they send customer cars for collision repair.

$700?!?! You are kidding right, for a piece of plastic? BWAHAHAHHA. No chance. Figure it is $130 from c-c-c.net. I'm sure the "cost" of it is less than $100. No chance BMW marks it up 700%

Maybe Acura guy was BSing but again this is a dealer we're talking about. Bimmer dealer probably quoting paint, parts, and labor.
