Just a nice race...
Nothing CL but fun :-)
Traffic light.
Left lane: CRX 1.6 with a few mods. behind the CRX a Ford Escort RS something with very nice wheels.
Right lane: Volkswagen Golf type 1, Rabbit for you guys, very nice restored with 1.8 ltr engine and mechanical injection. Fast car for a Golf.
Behind the Golf a Volvo 850T5 with CAI, CHIP, Freeflow exhaust and behind the 850 me with a Volvo S60T5 with a few mods.
Light turns green.
All take off and the Golf goes for the lead.
Golf pulls about two car lengths on the CRX before hitting 60 MPH.
Now the nice part,
One the two car space is there the 850 hits the pedal, goes in front of the CRX and overtakes the Golf in such an extreme way that it looked like the Golf was not driving :-)
While shifting the 850 throws a huge flame from the exhaust.
I follow and keep up with the 850 and at the same time look at the guy in the CRX who must have wet his pants by now....
This was a nice experience of being in control :-)
Oh, the CRX had wings and stickers and all....

Any body remember the Get away or Gateway from Stockholm??? Supra v. Ford Escort Cosworth?

Ahhh .... the stockholm series was great. The first one was a 911 Turbo I believe and the next was the Coz and the supra -- I do wish they were more camera angles though ...nifty nevertheless...
