just need some clarification on 05 tl wheels
Yes, I have searched but i need clarification b4 i go out and buy this wheels.
I know the 05 TL rims will fit the CL-s but what I dont know is if I could take the tires off my stock wheels (215/50R17 OEM) and put them on the 05 TL rims and still have them fit my car with NO PROBLEMS(rubbing).
I am also dropped on H&R springs, tokico shocks ( dwn ~ 1.5")
Thanks in advance.

I was initially going to drive to a salvage yard and pay for the 05 wheels while swapping my stockies out but I may decide to just swap the 05 TL wheel and tire combo for my stockies. I did not know we could use the same tire and wheel combo from the 05 TL.
Thanks thats a thought.
What is the stretched tire look ?? // (got pics)??

yea you can. i got a set of 3g TL wheels with 235/45/17 myself that i used as my winter setup when i lived in philly. look at my stance aquired thread youll see what i mean by stretched tire look. i put slimmer tires on my rims that probably wouldnt be recommended for them. the "stretched tire" look is when you put a tire on a wheel that really wasnt meant to run a tire that slim. people mostly do that to fit a rim that really wasnt meant to fit there car. case in point my 19x10's im running a 245 tire that has a little stretch to it. a 255 tire would be "'recommended" for a rim that wide but to get them to fit a 245 was better.
found ur post.

the tires looked more rubbery if tht makes any sense. But the stance was great, the question is how did they ride especially on bumps.
yes the pics looks nice and aggressive on ur ride but u had to roll ur fenders.
i dont wanna do any of that.

I have 3G TL wheels w/235/45s and am lowered on Pro Kits + Konis and the only time I rub is in the rear if I'm going pretty fast over a big dip. Since you're lowered 1.5 you should be fine without rolling your fenders, especially if you're going to run 215s.
