Just installed AEM intake!

Just spent the last hour and a half or so installing a silver AEM intake with a bypass valve.

Thanks to my wife for a badass Christmas present!

It sounds so awesome!

I'm now a member of the AEM intake club. Guess I need to update my sig.

You see that metal tube that runs from where the cai attaches to the engine to over by the oil filler cap? It should have been removed. The hose that's attached to the right side of it should go all the way to the block.

Actually that metal tube will soon be chewing a hole in our friends hoodliner, also it looks much cleaner without it. It will function the same though.

AVI8TIR, yes there is a coolant line that runs w/ the vacuum line. Take off the plastic engine covers and it will become obvious how to replace the line. You need about 2' of 5/16 fuel line (trim to fit). Instead of running the line towards the front of the motor you will go behind(from where the cai mounts to the throttle body). The instructions fail to address the issue of removing this metal line.
