Just got my Acura Style mag...
and promptly wrote into "Ask the experts" section to inquire about our trannies.
Will be interesting to see what they say. Or will we get the usual response of "we do not show an abnormal amount of tranny failures happening"

It is advertising. Most people don't hang out on the Internet chatting about cars all day. So if its been a while since they bought their Acura, they mind not even knows what's on the market. Maybe they're thinking about a new car. And the Acura Style mag shows up and gets them interested interested enough to see their local dealer.

In this months (Jan.) IEEE Spectrum mag (Electrical Engineer Mag.) Honda has a help wanted ad for Reliability and Transmission Engineers at their OHIO plant. Throught that was kinda funny.

I loved it. I mean I was just thinkin the other day, "I hate it how car mags always talk about cars." And what arrives in my mailbox, an Acura mag with riveting stories about Louisiana and skiing. Finally they figured it out...

Shouldn't an Acura magazine list the 6-speed as a change for the '02 CL??? The only things their "Insider's Guide" list are:
New color - dark emerald green
New rear view mirrors
Thicker moon roof glass
New key fob
Maybe it's just me because I couldn't care less about these things.
