Just Got A Cl Type-s
Hey, I know I've never posted here but I've been reading the message board for a while. Just wanted to let everyone know I just bought a 2003 CL Type-S from Springfield Acura in NJ. Paid $26,400 + TTL (and wheel locks and whatnot). It is brand new with 60 miles on it, Satin Silver Metallic over Ebony. I turn 17 in 5 and a half weeks, and I can't wait to drive it. Happy Holidays!!

Even if he is...a mature 16yr old is better than some of the trolls that come around. If he (she?) proves to be a young-un then lets give them the chance!
Hell...I'm 32 and still pick fights on the highways...is that bad? :P
Welcome to the board. It was hard for me what I first started posting. Stick in there if you love the car. These guys (and a couple girls?) have a WEALTH of info to share. If you haven't found the tuners guide then check that out if you want to play with the car. If you love it the way it is then cheers!

Yea, i'll be 16 for the next 5 and a half weeks until January 27th. I can't wait, hopefully I'll pass the test on my B-Day (knock on wood)!! And I do realize how lucky I am, my grandparents are paying for about 70% of it, and my parents and I are splitting the rest. I was in between the CL/CLS/TSX/Saab 9-3, hopefully I made a good decision. Glad to be a true member now.

in like 1 month you will get bit by the speed bug...
i drive fast, but not recklessly. Some of my friends tho, drive on the wrong side of the road for no reason...
One of my friends is getting a V1 for christmas and a 04 SVT Cobra in June... (he drives like crazy, but hes not reckless: for example, driving through the exact change lanes at 120 mph and honking his horn (sometimes he throws change out the window).... this is on a daily basis ).... )
...his parents are like "Jeremy, dont speed, but heres a radar detector, and a really fast car...."
so, stay off the dallas north tollway and G Bush at 9 AM and 4 PM...

Enjoy and appreciate the car - you'll love her. Just never forget that you're really lucky, it makes owning such a nice car at a young age that much sweeter (I should know - i got my car when i was 17 too)

I wish I would have found that deal. I paid full price for my 2003 CL-S 16 months ago. It had 10miles on it and I couldn't drive it cause I had only drivin a manual one time prior. I drove to Maine after 2weeks of having it to see if I could learn to drive better.
the clutch and gears are still in tact and working well, after 39k miles.

Damn!! 16 y/o and has a CLS?!? I had a Kia @ 16y/o...bicycle that is. My 13 y/o son has delusions of grandeur as he's saving for a 5G Prelude; scary as it is, he already has enough for a good down payment.
