Just got back from the track (times)

Just got back from the track, here is my best time, I'll post the actual slip in the morning.

r/t 1.015 (my best of the night was .741)
60' 2.258
330' 6.315
1/8 9.615
mph 74.65
1000' 12.458
1/4 14.861
mph 94.12

This is bone stock mind you. I've only got coilovers. I had the spare in trunk, HEAVY ass CD case, laptop, and other misc shit in the car.

I had 5 runs, and they got progressively worse the more I ran. 2 14s, 3 15s (1 was a 15 flat). Power Braking sucks ASS. I had my worst run at 15.2 when I power braked. I don't recommend it! Ohh, and this was using gate shift all night.
Cheerio.

Great times! Should put an end to the myth that a bone stock CL-S can't break 15 seconds.

Slips

14s on bald stock tires.

The 15.037 was against another CL-S. (Hanzie from the board.) He has AEM CAI and he JUST edged me out at 14.999. Closest race of the night by far. If fact, closest race I've ever been in...period. While I picked up a 15.037, 14.999 was his best run of the night. This was the one time he didn't powerbrake, and he broke into the 14s. His first 2 runs were like 15.1 and 15.1-2x?? with powerbraking.

Now to get some speed mods and see what kind of improvements they do to my track times.

According to the scale in my bathroom, 18 lbs. But those things always lie.

I've never seen that myth around here, but I have seen one where people think that just because a few can, ALL of them can.

Excellent times!!!!!!! That's fantastic for bone stock. What was your tire pressure? How much fuel were your running? What were the weather conditions?

33 psi in the front
32 psi in the rear

My first and best run was 2 ticks under half a tank
It was somewhere between 70-75 degrees outside
no idea about the humidity.

Was it with Amsoil or Mobil1??

Let me guess you forgot you had a case of Amsoil in the trunk.
