i agree with ur logic bro... it's just.. the stats don't match up with it.
my 60 ft was slightly better with lower tire pressure and i got .25 better overall... so i dunno

And temp, and basically everything else. Rajcas logic with tire pressures isnt wrong.
Use your foot to compensate for any slipping. No reason to keep flooring it if youre already slipping. Lift slightly, regain traction, and go.

Last time I was at the track with a FWD car was my Jetta with 298wtq. On stock tire pressure i was getting 2.4 to 2.6 60 ft's with 14.9's. I finally went to 15 psi and got a great launch with a 2.0 60 ft, with 14.1. I think trap speed on that run was like 98 mph, its been awhile.
So the lower I went on tire pressure the lower my times went. I started around 40 psi went to 30 then 25 then 15 psi, and it was my fastest time. All this was done at 5k foot elevation. By the time I got to 25 psi my intercooler was so heat soaked. I had to use a hose to cool it before I did the 14.1 run.
Anyways looks like you mods have helped out a bit. Fun ain't it?
