Just cut 1&1/2 coil in front SportLine, awesome...

Springs: Eibach Sportline
Wheels & Tires: Enkies Bortex 18s & 235-40-18s

The ride is barely rougher than before the cut. Now the front sits 1/3" lower than rears, and the tires tucks under the fenders...

Compared to 03' CLS, fronts is 3.3" lower & rears is 3" lower (measuring fender lip to center of wheel).

Looks a lot meaner (rake look), feels better on high speed & cornering

I'll have updated pics in my album provided it doesn't rain this weekend...

I am getting there 4PumpedCL

Right on! Glad to see you cut the coils. When I drove around with my car that low I wore out front tires really fast from camber. I can't wait to see pics! How far is your TL kit from the ground now

Corrections: Fronts are 1/2" lower than rears (center of wheel to fender lip) after settling...

- Sides of front spoiler: 3.5" off ground (lowest points of kit).
- Center of front spoiler: 6" off ground (highest point of kit).

Yes, got to be real careful against those damn Texas sized speed bumps But I am used to it, my Mr2 front spoiler is 2.5" off the ground :P

After re-aligment today, 1 degree of neg. camber is within specs, so inside should not wear un-even

Will take pics tommorrow...

hmm, springs cost about $180 to $200, cutting 1&1/2 coils on a progressive spring doesn't destroy its integrity...
On progressive springs, the 1st/2nd coils are there for height, not for load...

It's cheaper than $1K coil overs...
