Just bought by CL-S MT! New here.

Hello everyone,

Well, after a long and painful car shopping process, I finally closed the deal on my Aegean Blue Cl-S MT. I was deciding between the BMW 330Ci (too expensive), the Infiniti G35 Coupe (not available and I needed a car now after my Audi S4 was totalled) and the Lexus IS300 (too slow).

The dealer will also install the following:

Comptech Springs, Sways, and Exhaust.
Factory Spoiler.

I'm new here, but I've been a moderator at ClubSi.Com and ClubRSX. I've owned an 00 Civic Si, an 01 Audi S4 and now this.

Can't wait to be more involved here and am excited to meet everyone!

Thanks everyone,

I had a UUC Exhaust, MTM Chip, MTM Suspension (lowered), Neuspeed Sway, Rear Spoiler, and Tinted windows on the S4.

As for extended warranties, I leased this car, so I'm not too concerned about the warranty.

Welcome to the CLS family...I'm sure you'll enjoy the car as much as the majority of us. I wish I could put some mods into mine...still trying to figure out if it's worth the money for the extra performance (strapped for cash right now).

Enjoy!

Hey thanks guys.

I'm from the bay area.
I didn't get an extended warranty because I'm leasing my car.
Headers- maybe if it's okay with the lease, but I doubt it.

Pics to come soon, once I pick it up today!

Why don't you come up to Sacramento for our meet on October 26th. Some of the Bay area guys will be coming up, maybe you can join them and show your new baby off Check the Sacramento thread in Club Events for more info. Don't worry about the lease, get the headers !!

I just want to say that you guys are the most friendly of the luxo brand forums. When I was on Audiworld.com I never got any answers to my questions. Even when I posted the first time, I got only 4 responses! They're incredibly snobby and they all think that german cars are better than anything else by far.

Oct 26th? I hope I'm not working that day.

Welcome aboard...it's nice to have you. Shopping for these cars be a difficult process, but you made the right decision. I loved my 2003 CLS so much, I bought another 2003 TLS for my wife.

the tires are crap, decide if you plan to get new rims. If you dont or are going to get the same size invest in some tires.

Well, I've had my CLS for the weekend and I love it! How quickly I've forgotten about my S4! I'm amazed at how easy things are to locate again, and how great that VTEC sounds. Drove to Santa Cruz on Saturday with my wife and she loves it too.

One gripe: as I said in another forum, the dealer installed eibach springs and some sort of sway bar set. The handling, though better, was not as great as I had hoped. I need to check to make sure they did what I asked them too.

Anyways, I love this car and definitely do not regret buying it (which I was afraid I might in light of my previous S4).
