That is actually a pretty good price. Most places sell the short ram for 120-140. Good job shopping.

I have a 3.0 and couldn't find one for it from AEM. Even the Accord one doesn't fit right.

I'm going with the Dragon Intake. More expensive, but I know it will fit! - $155 http://www.dragonintakes.com/page2.php

I still think that is a lot of money for a short-ram intake... you can pick up a no-name shortram (and trust me, it is the same hose and filter you get from AEM, INJEN, etc.) for around $60.... the rest of your money goes towards the brand name...

What? Are you trying to rain on my AEM CAI parade? Anywayz, I called AEM and the dude there said it should fit on my gen as well. The one thing I dont understand is the first gen CL (97-00) is based off the 94-97 accord platform. The current accords have run since 1998. The new CLs are based on that platform. Why arent the new CLs based off of a new platform? Rather, why don't the accord and CL change at the same time, so both can be built off of the same platform at the same time. I guess I dont understand why you would be building new Accords on one platform and first gen Cls on an older platform in 98/99/00 in the same factory. Any clues?

All I know is that I have been reading all of these posts for the past few months and people have been saying that they need to make mods here and there for them to fit on the 3.0. Those people with the 2.2 or 2.3 don't seem to have a problem. Also, I have been looking to purchase a CAI for my car for some time now and just like everyone else, they don't make it specifically for our car. I know that they make it for the accord and that it should fit, but every company that I have spoken to could not confirm that it would fit.

Don't get me wrong, I care about getting ripped off just like the next guy, but I don't care about spending the money if I know that it has been proven to fit already.

Am in process of designing a full on CAI that hopefully net more hp. than AEM! Its not that hard to do. If your a do it yourselfer like I am its doable. I will provide before and after time figures when finished with my install! AEM-CAI for CL-S is over 250. Mine will cost me 75!
