I'll probably be free most of the weekend so just hit me up whenever and I'll see if I can ride.

Is this coincidence or what? UncTypeS, evilstorm and me are 22??

What's wrong with the stock tire size? What's the big rush to upgrade? Just wondering

Bad news is i'm sick of my tranny probs, i might be going on tranny number 3. I'm going to look at a brand new 6MT G35 today.

It's most definitly an '03, I changed out the rims, it was listed as '03 when i bought it from the dealer and i have onstar, the dealer said only came with my year. I'm not sure what the person before me did, besides euro rear taillamps, which were put back to factory w/ parts from a wrecked cls.

well u have the older style taillights and 03's dont come with foglights, which you have and along with the untinted headlights. I hope you didnt get screwed on the deal, cause i dont know why someone who wanna make their 03 look like an 01-02.

i would do a vin check just to make sure.

definitely register it on Acura OwnerLink with your VIN and you will know. edit: i dont think anyone would spend all that time and money to turn it back to an 01-02 including the side mirrors not blue-tinted? What does the interior look like? bowling ball trim or silver trim?

It's a long story, i'll type it out another time when i feel like typing, at this point lets just say i'm very unhappy. The dealer didn't sell me what they said they were selling me, and a lawsuit is in the works. I won't name the dealer, but after all was said and done and everything was pointed out they still tell me that i apparently don't know the difference in '02 vs '03 and i don't know what the hell i'm talking about. More to come in another thread on another day. I don't know if i'm keeping the car or getting the G35 i looked at. If i do keep it my question is, will installing headers void man. warranty?

headers will not void, as long as the warranty is through acura.

They're telling YOU that you don't know the difference? Unbelievable. And this was an Acura dealership, right?

I hope this lawsuit works out in the end and you come out happy.

C'mon.... If i was trying to hype up my '02 (which is what it really is.) why would i post pics, wouldn't i keep it under wraps? Even though it's an '02 that doesn't make it inferior to the '03, so i would have no reason to make a claim it's only 1 year difference. The fact of the matter is they took me for more money than i should of paid, and then had the audacity to tell me I didn't know what I was talking about when I called them on it. Actually Muller's or Mcgrath was recommended. I might be taking the car to either one for future service if i keep it.

Answering someone else's ?... All my papers say it's an '03, and the carfax (with a VIN that doesn't match my car, which i never bothered to check, didn't think i had to) says '03 as well. I guess i should've been a bit more involved in the forums and learned more about these cars before i went to the dealer in the first place.

in a nutshell (cliffnotes)

he bought an 02 with 03 wheels on it and they labeled it as an 03 on all the papers. he signed them and bought the car. I questioned the year on his pics, i asked him questions on what he had done to the outside of the car from the factory, and all his answers fit the description of an 01-02. he did a vincheck and it came back 02, which means the dealer is involved in false advertisement=fraud.

i doubt its a typo on the papers.....

larry-lemme know when u go back in there, i will bring my car to that idiot and show him the difference, seeing as though he thinks we have no clue what were talking about.

no no, he changed the double spoke wheels to the 5 spokes. it says so in his first pictures. but the other description clearly says it's an '02. 03 did not come with fogs.
