Just bought an '03 CL-S!

Well, I'm pretty f'n excited. I take delivery tomorrow.
I purchased a 2003 CL Type S with navigation through a car buying service for $30,905. Add a spoiler, taxes, etc... under $33k out the door. Please, please, don't flame me but... it's a SS auto tranny since I can't drive stickshift for shit. This will be my daily driver and I get stuck on the beltway every morning anyway.

Needless to say my jaw dropped to the floor when they showed me the no-haggle price! I was like "ok where do I sign?"

If they don't have the spoiler ready by tomorrow at 5pm I'll get a loaner. I'm selling my '92 Camry the same day so it works out perfectly.

The 2003 drives better than the 2002 CL-S. Turn radius at parking speeds is 100x better, which was my main gripe. BTW the buying service was called UBS, which I have access to through my job (www.ubs4cars.com). So if your employer has it and you can use it, check it out.

DAMM...that is a good price. Better than when I bought my 2001 CL-S.

DAMN fine deal.
I wonder if you could have done that good on the 6-Speed.

Congrats and welcome ! Get some anthracite wheels and more agressive rubber. Enjoy the auto, it's plenty quick

Can anyone confirm this? I'd love a tighter turning radius but wasn't aware of any changes in that department.

Yeah, the tires & front track (width) are the same.

How would there be any difference ???

Dunno, but when I was pulling out of parking, on both of the 2002 CL-S's I test drove I had a hell of a time getting it parked because I'd have the wheel turned all the way but it still wouldn't turn the way you'd expect.
For the 2003, I didn't even have to turn the wheel all the way.

Edmunds lists 39.4 as the turning circle for the 2003, same as 2002. I'm pretty sure we're talking about the same thing though.

Perhaps some of the other 2003 owners can back me up? Unless the car was broken and the wheel just kept turning

No Flames here, 95 % CL-S sold will be ss auto (per ACURA), 99% of the members on this board have the ss auto. :P
