my CL has 72,000 miles and no rattles or noises except for a little noise coming from the cd changer. even when the stereo is off it sounds like a little metal piece is making a noise. am i going crazy or has this happened to you?

 

loose/chipped piece?? or over jammed cds. try taking out all cds and see if still makes noise. or also take out stereo and check if any pieces missing/chipped off

 

Time for an aftermarket stereo.

6-cd changers are so 2001.

ehhh...ipod kinda takes forever to find a certain song with
i have my ipod connected....but still use cds

 

No the CD works fine. Whether I have them in or out still a tiny jingle sound. I thought of doing the iPod but would take forever to find the songs I want and an aftermarket unit would only attract a break-in. I like my Pioneer 6 disc in-dash CD player... just wish there was no jingle.
