I was on my way to the store today, which happens to be across from a bunch of nissan Headqurter Buildings in Gardena CA. Anyway, there was this ugly, older maxima with the word excelsior across the trunk. Is this a Japanese brand name for maxima or just something the idiot put on the back. I say idiot because he didn't know how to drive .

 

Japanese Maxima is the Cefiro.

Excelsior is similar to the President...both japanese models. I think* the President model is our Infiniti M45...

 

Yeah, it looked different, but I couldn't quit place it.

 

Nissan President/Cima = Infiniti Q45
Nissan Cedric/Gloria = Infiniti M45

I never heard of the Excelsior (outside of Star Trek, that is) and it doesnt appear to be in current production (JDM) www.nissan.co.jp

 

Hmmm... I saw a Tsuru in Grand Cayman last week. Looked like an older Sentra.

thats the Lexus LS.

 

What ever it was, it had 4 doors.
