We ran into the same problem as Comptech. The battery was in the way. We could either keep the same size battery and move it to the trunk or go with a smaller battery as Comptech did to make room. We were not happy with either solution so we are redesigning the blower case to accommodate the Accord engine bay. In our redesign we actually made a blower that performed
better than any of the current Eaton designs available. So it will
take a little longer because we now have to have a new case fabricated but in the end the Accord layout will stay stock and blower efficiency will be increased.

Thanks for the info! This will be interesting! Jackson Racing is one of the best companies out there that make phat SCs for Honda!

Still there is a 1-800 so people can call and ask.

 

Vortech with their compact SC and Air-water Aftercooler would be nice too!

 

I hope it'll fit my car, If so, the Probe will be sold off to the next slave driver and I'll upgrade as soon as it hits the market!

You'd get more horsepower out of a set of racing stripes than a Jackson Racing supercharger.

Somoene please tell me why I'm getting my hopes up for a Centrifigual Supercharger?

 

I think if you slap a Type-R sticker on the back somewhere you might get about 10 extra horsepower. :P

 

JRSC will most likely be a Roots-style Eaton blower much like the COmptech one as they ran into the came problem in mounting it like Comptech. A centrifugal is pretty useless for this car...not as much appeal for us daily drivers.
