It's Great Nobody Knows Our Cars!!
It's pretty cool that not a lot of dooches know our cars out there. Well, especially in this case where I won some $$. 
My friend and I are chilling at a coffee place next to our cars around 11pm earlier today. My friend rolls in a EVO and me in my CLS. A group of integras, rsx, honda civic coupes come rolling around. We kinda chuckle because of the 8 or so cars, 7 are body-kits only at most. Only one looked like had a custom exhaust done and sounds like it.
Me and him are checking out these cars and the dudes come up to us ask us if we wanna test our cars tonight. We ask him which one of us they want, obviously them not knowing my car and afraid of my friend's EVO, they pick mine. Keep in mind I have my car debadged so all they know is that it's an ACURA.
The dude in a lowered body-kitted integra, RSX, and me go at it. $100 each on stake, winner takes $300.
Fuck it's an easy win. Wish $300 was as easy as this shit. They kept asking which kinda car it is and specs, when mine is almost stock as can be.
Just felt like sharing my douche-wannabe stomping time.

Its nice to see people misjudge their cars, and good move with the debadging....maybe I should debadge mine so people don't think I have a 3.2...hahha

CLPs arent that much slower. A couple of tenths on a quarter at best, which you wont even notice.
The loss of HP everyone has gotten due to wear, tear, and old age has prob. made most of the CL's on par with each other.

Yea, My Cl-P is fast as shit, given I have every mod that there is out these except a SC. Out of the box the CL-S is faster, but im pretty sure I could run with a lot of the CL-S autos out there that are only lightly modded.

well what do you have done? I don't see a modded CL-P beating a CL-S lightly modded...it just doesn't add up. If you get headers, intake, exhaust, and pulley your still only about as fast as a stock CL-S I would think. Get headers alone on the CL-S and it shouldn't be a problem
I have a CL-S A/t with just headers and it seems way faster then my last car which is equivilant to the stock CL-P. My last car was a 2000 maxima 3.0L with 222 base horsepower, but a lot more torque and even the stock CL-S definately felt faster

My Cl-P has, Aem V2, TB spacer and gasket set, Header, greddy exhaust, UR 3 peice pully set, Neo in the glove box,fresh tune by speed concepts, lightweight wheels. When I was just I/H/E I ran 14.6 in the quarter at woodburn. I really beleive with my new mods and my new tune I can put down 14.3-14.4 times.
If so, 14.3-14.4 I would be able to keep up with the Cl-S autos.

damn that's a lot done. I wish you were around me so we could line em up except I have headers on. I just orderd a CAI today...gonna have to wait for an underdrive pulley until after I get my timing belt/water pump/valve adjustment done.

Yea thats the exact same time that I got my pulleys done, during the 105K tune up.
Mabey we can get one of our Cl-S auto oregon members to line up with me one of these days when woodburn opens up in the fall.
