I have a 2001 3.2 CL S. Sometimes when turning over the ignition, the car will turn over like it's going to crank and then immediately stall out. Two or three times and it cranks up fine and runs normally. Sometimes it seems to idle really low at a stop. It runs good except for the intermittent times where it doesn't want to stay cranked. I replaced Fuel Pump Relay so I don't think that's it. No check engine code/warnings are coming up. Could this be electrical? Ignition? Fuel pump? Any suggestions on what the issue could be would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

 

Check your grounds

 

Ive actually had this same thing happen to me a couple times now.

When you say check your grounds are there certain grounds to check first? Im sure there are tons of grounds on our car!

 

Just the grounds in the engine bay, can't remember how many there are right now..

Unbolt em, sand down the contact points & re bolt em down

 

Dude. Pulled the battery out. Grabbed ground wire and moved it back and forth and it cam right off. Put a new ring terminal on it, hooked everything back up and it fired right up. Seems to have fixed it. Good call! I appreciate it!!!
