probably, never tried though. I think someone here took off the bowling ball trim and painted that like the titanium trim.

check my sig for a custom painted console trim kit and real aluminum dash kit.. be careful though, some flat dash kits will be faux aluminum, instead of real brushed aluminum.

The only pieces you can buy from the dealer are the center console pieces. The door pieces are not sold separately, meaning you'd have to buy the entire interior door panel piece.

Here's a pic to show you.

Oh and the door panel will run you $300 a side.

hey, sorry for bumping this old thread up...but I'm trying to find out how to get the 2 side pieces that run along the center console that are aluminum and come stock on the 03 cl's. I'm probably gonna be buying the autodesign dash kit and would like the other 2 pieces to finish it off. Does anybody know how much it is, and which part #? Thanks!

The stock pieces are not aluminum, they are painted silver plastic. I'd just paint what you've got. I added real brushed aluminum dash/console kit that looks great, autodesign's kit seemed like double the price of others out there. here's one pic I had handy.

looks great man...

well, some guys is selling his kit from autodesign brand new for $200 shipped. However, it's for an '03 6 speed non-navi, and I have an 01 non-navi. Meaning, the cupholder area won't fit, correct?

Well none of the lower console will be right, 03 has the handbrake, heater controls there. the cup holder is different size opening. your upper dash and door switch pieces should work. I do not know what that kit includes. I'd go with another brand that has all your pieces. they are less than $200. mine was $180 I think. Had some pieces I didn't use. included sunglass door cover, rear center ashtray, rear cupholders, driver/passenger window control area, lower console and upper dash (in pictures), and AC vents. I wasn't even gonna put the upper dash on, but decided what the hell. I liked just the center console look by itself. added a door pic up there.

wow man, that looks sharp

Ok, I'm definitely down on getting the kit...but I don't want to cheap out on anything. Are they all pretty much the same? I know to stick w/ real brushed aluminum. So where else can I buy the kit at? I believe autocarparts has a kit. Is there anywhere else?

Do you guys think it would be possible to swap the area between the shifter and the arm rest from an '03 TL-S to an '03 CL-S? I want to relocate the parking brake handle to the center console.

Ok people...honestly I need help here.

Should I go ahead with edashkit? I searched on here and it seems nobody has gotten the kit from them. They have an option for brushed aluminum, and their shit is $159 with more pieces than any of the other kits.

Or...

exoticwooddash is like $219 for the brushed aluminum but is only 19 pieces. I want to play the order asap...like tmrw, so help me people

I have the impression that all these places have the same kit, and as long as you ask for REAL brushed aluminum, you should be fine. Hope it works out.

Kits can definitely vary, some have extra pieces for the lower door where the trunk button is, mine didn't. It's in the diagram above. mine didn't have 24,25,27. But you can get where it is too much IMO. Mine even had a piece for the sunglass door, I didn't use it.

ALLOUT- My shift knob is from the TSX, the S2000 is the same (I think pre-2004/5) but it is a black shift pattern, not the red. I have since fixed the boot so it all fits nice.
I Like it, much, much better than the lightweight plastic under leather stock knob. These are metal and leather and weigh 2-3X as much, plus are shorter.

cool....by the way...how do you install these things?? Do you have to take the stock pieces off? Or do these stick on like other kits over the stock shit?

Oh and also...the 2 pieces that are silver that run along the center console that come on the 03's...supposedly you can buy these pieces from the dealer? Anybody know the part # and how much they are? I'm not exactly a good painter

i did this to my accord many moons ago and it stuck over the existing peices. You heat it up with a hair dryer to mold it and stick. Let me know which one you go with and what the final product looks like. I would like to do this to my 01

Could be a fun project. Not sure how doable it is though.

Auto PB

Manual PB

The parking brake handle unit is only $50, but then you need a new center console + + + +

I've applied both the plasticwood trim and the real aluminum. The aluminum was harder since it is thin metal, if you bend or crease it you can't smooth it out, the plastic wood pieces were not as susceptible to creases. with some of the big and detailed pieces you have to be careful as you lay it down, you can't pull up the aluminum without creasing it.
You'll see what I mean. you just have to be real patient and go slow.

I'm concerned only because the real aluminium trim does not look like it matches the Acura painted aluminum trim.

ok so I understand that the real aluminum is harder...however I didn't get the answer I was looking for, lol. Is the trim applied w/ tape OVER the existing trim pieces? Or do you have to take off the existing pieces and THEN put this on?

And I still don't know about edashkit. Shit is $60 cheaper...which could definitely help...aye yi yi

THe pieces come with 3M type adhesive on the back, press on over the existing black plastic surfaces in the car, like a decal. There are no pieces for the stock trim (wood or silver) pieces already in the car.

Well, I guess I would ask for samples from both companies so you can see any differences in the materials. that's what I did. I'm not so sure more pieces is better, more is less with this stuff IMO. I almost didn't even install the pieces around the speedo, radio, and Navi. I liked just the center console look alone, but decided hey I got the pieces so I put them all on.

Thanks and good luck on your 6MT purchase.
I thought the kit came out well. The center console below the Navi to the shifter area and the door pieces look very integrated. The upper dash pieces around the speedo and Navi is not as integrated looking IMO. but it looks better than stock. Most of the dash co's. will send out samples of the materials.
I used exoticwood dash I think, I paid $180, they've gone up in price.
The real brushed aluminum kit of course does not match exactly since it's aluminum, and the stock trim is silver painted plastic. You can get silver plastic trim that matches OEM exactly too.

ok so I contacted the techsupport over at edashkit.com and here was their response:

Real Brushed aluminum is available. It is an additional 30.00.

Please send your mailing address and we will send a sample.

Thanks

Will
So then, it is $159 + $30...being $189 for real brushed aluminum and 30 pieces...I'm gonna wait to see the sample and I'll decide. I also asked exoticwooddash.com to send me a sample, but they haven't gotten back to me yet. I guess I'll just have to wait and see!
