An interesting run-in w/ an Si

So I was on my way home again tonight, and I came upon a black Si ('96-'00 model). All that I could visually and audibly tell was that he was lowered, had intake, and exhaust; however, I know he had a lot more work than that. Anyways, I could tell from the get-go that he wanted to go for it. So I figured, why the hell not? I've seen some pretty fast Si's out here in the Valley, so let's test this guy out. Well we both punch it at around 55mph and I walk him to about 100 by about 3 cars or so. We then slow down and go at it around 45 and pretty much the same result, but I kept walking him. This time he decided to get the early jump from behind. He takes off, and I take off about a second or two late from around 45. By the time I hit the top of 2nd, I'm dead even with him, but then I hit the rev-limiter for the first time ever today . That kept me even with him until I finally shifted into 3rd and started walking him like the previous races. Anyways, I was expected to completely annihilate this guy, but I was pleasantly surprised. His shit was loud as hell too, lol. So, after about our 4th or 5th time going at it, I decided to call it quits. I slowed down and got next to him and gave him the . He nodded, and went his own way. It was a fun time I must say.
