Interesting question while starting...
how come the Park light AND the D5 light both light up when im turning the car over??? is this some sort of self-diagnostic or something??? always wanted to know

This is normal Scooter,the D5 light is the light that will illuminate if there is a trans control problem.When you start the car the warning lamps stay lit for a few seconds during this time the car checks and tests everything if there is a problem the warning lamp will remain lit.If it goes off the electronics see no problem.Jens

had a grand am rental car a few months back...when cranking the engine, all the gauges (tach and speedo) go all the way to the other side of the guage.
it kinda pissed me off sometimes though, odn't know why though.
