Interesting Differences Between My 2003 CLS & TLS

My CLS is alot faster. Perhaps because I have a few mods on it and 6000 miles while the TLS is stock, new and needs to be broken in a bit. Boy, those headers must really make a difference.

Of course it's b/c of the mods, mainly the headers which give you a 30hp advantage alone.

Stock they are within tenths of each other.....

ACtually you would think that would be the case...but both cars are identical in weight...maybe a few points off. THat's the biggest blow to the CL...we're too heavy

Don't forget that's the noticeable gains with headers - in VTEC+ range, which is around the top 1/3rd the total rpm range of the engine. Most of it's in the 20s, not 30hp. 30hp is for maybe 100rpm, but yes, they make a difference - maybe 2 tenths gain on an otherwise stock car - and should aid in a faster feel especially in the high end.

50 pounds in the long run is not much...as compared to like 100 or more. Also I have the navi...which brings my weight to 3558.

I think the dealer also gave me a full tank of regular gas to save the difference in price. When I refilled tank with Premium 93 gas I saw a difference.
