I wanted to get the intake tubing off of the throttle body so I could take a look at something, but I noticed that there are 2 sorts of small tubes connected to the throttle end of the intake tube. One of them is quiet stiff and I'm afraid I'll break it if I pull too hard or yank. The other tube is pretty flexible from what I remember. What are these 2 tubes, is it possible to disconnect them from the intake tube without doing any damage, and what is the easiest way to get the intake tube off the throttle body so I can look down the tube? Lots of questions. Hope you all can help. Thanks in advance.

 

One is for the crank vent and the other for the fuel air control. Both can be removed easily and reinstalled.

 

Do you know where I can find directions? Or further help?

 

Get the shop manual, it is a must if you are doing things to your own car.
